THE EXECUTIVES
MARK BINGHAM - PRESIDENT & FOUNDER
With 25 years of experience in large loss property and contents claims, Mark founded BSI to provide the most detailed, comprehensive service in the industry. His commitment to excellence and integrity in every aspect of the process is the foundation for BSI’s success.
He developed and perfected a claim inventory methodology and procedure which guarantees accuracy and results.​​ He has managed and measured over 1,500 large loss contents claims with a proven record of success handling very large, complex multi-million-dollar assignments and is experienced in managing high net worth clientele.

With the ability to develop action plans and execute those plans on time and within budget, Mark is a trusted advisor and consultant to adjusters, vendors, attorneys, and agents nationwide in all aspects of contents claims.

Mark has been married to his beautiful wife, Ellen, for over 20 years, and together they have 5 amazing children. They reside in Franklin, Tennessee where they enjoy watching soccer, football, and spending time with family.
MEL JEFFERS - VICE PRESIDENT
Mel Jeffers, the Vice President of BSI, has been in the insurance industry for nearly 40 years. He is responsible for the management and supervision of the daily operations including staffing, associate communication, safety, quality control, strategy implementation and budget compliance of a growing insurance contents loss consulting firm.
Responsible for training and continued development of both current and new employees, Mel developed the management training program for both current and new employees. He is also responsible for client development and retention while providing client support activities for contents inventory, appraisal, salvage disposition, salvage destruction, dispute resolution, arbitration, mediation and litigation support.

Mel enjoys traveling with his wife of more than 30 years, Melissa, They reside in Oneida, Tennessee where they enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.
RICHARD CLARKE - CORPORATE OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Richard Clarke, Director of Corporate Operations, brings over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry.

As Director of Corporate Operations, he manages key initiatives in each of our current business divisions as well as developing new strategies and claims products emerging from our continued growth. Rich has worked with some of the top companies in the insurance industry.
Prior to joining BSI, he was the Assistant Vice President of Marine Claims for AIG for 17 years and Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance for 5 years.
Rich serves on the board with the Southern Loss Association and is a retired Volunteer Firefighter of 24 years. From New Jersey, Rich and his wife,Tara relocated to Georgia nine years ago. He has three children and seven grandchildren and spends his free time camping and as a volunteer baseball coach for his grandchildren.
